Advanced Forums
There are several advanced forum features that are not enabled as standard but can be configured on a site by site basis.
These options bring extra functionality to the forums template, and you can have as many (or as few) of the options as you like.
The advanced options currently available are:
- Alerts when a post is made on the forum.
- Allow web addresses entered in posts to display as hyperlinks.
- Avatars for users on the forum.
- Quoting other posts in your reply.
- Show information from the user profile under the username (e.g. Company Name or Location)
- Star rating based on how many posts a user has made.
- Sticky threads.
- The ability for admin users to move threads.
- Upload of images and documents with a forum post.
