Add Links to Form Labels, Help text, and Text paragraphs

It is possible for you to add a link to the label of an item on your form, text paragraphs, and if your site is configured correctly, you can also add it to the help text.

In either the form label (or help text if configured), enter the relevant text. The link is set up within square brackets, as you can see in the example below.

I have read and accepted the website [termsAndConditions_NEW:terms & conditions]

You can add the link anywhere within the text, and you can add as many links as you like. There are three parts to the link.
  1. termsAndConditions
This needs to match the Target ID custom property of a page on the site. To set this up, go to the page you want to link to, click Page Properties, Custom, and then set the Target ID property.
  2. _NEW
This is optional, and specifies that the link should open in a new window. This would be set in most instances so you don't disrupt the form submission.
  3. :terms & conditions
This is the text of the link that will be displayed in the label of the form.
