Make signing in a little quicker by using 'Remember my username'

You may have already noticed, but your site’s Sign In page now gives you the option to “Remember my username”. Tick this so that the next and subsequent times you sign in to your site the username box will be prefixed with your username, making signing in that little bit easier.

If you use a shared computer it would be better not to tick this box, but your site remains secure because you still need to enter your password to sign in. If you tick it by mistake, just untick it again next time you sign in and your username will be forgotten.

Note that if your site uses email address authentication, the message will be “Remember my email address”.
