Communicating better with you. Please read - action required

Last updated: 08 February 2010, 11:16

We are currently performing a number of significant upgrades to the Cubik content management software. In the first instance, these upgrades will not visibly change the way that you perform the majority of day-to-day tasks (with one possible exception that is described within the Helpdesk area of our website). However, they are essential building blocks for some major functional enhancements that we will be rolling-out over the coming months.

All upgrades are fully tested in our development environment prior to deployment, but in deploying recent developments to our live environment, problems that did not exhibit themselves within our test environment did materialise. We believe that these issues are now largely resolved and we apologise for any inconvenience caused.

The issues that were encountered have lead us to review the way that we communicate with you, our clients, to ensure that you are properly informed about software enhancements and planned maintenance and how we should communicate with you if ever a problem arises with our hosted service. Please take a moment to read our Client Communications Strategy by using this link.

For our strategy to be effective, we need you to opt-in to receive email updates when a major change is planned or when we are experiencing service disruptions. Please help us to deliver a better service to you by using this link to opt-in to email announcements now.

You may also notice that starting from 2 February 2010, the Support Case Summary screen on your Control Panel has been changed slightly:

  • You can see notes that give an indication as to how your cases are progressing.
  • The priority is included so that you can see in what order we will progress through your cases.
  • By clicking on the case number, you are taken to an enhanced form to allow you to communicate with us regarding a specific case.
  • The page is now updated every 30 minutes rather than nightly.

If you have any queries about this, please do not hesitate to contact us:
